2D Mapping Environment
WebAppTech has an extensive background and knowledge dealing with the common web mapping systems. We primarily create mapping systems with the use of open source mapping technologies and web applications such as Google Maps and Javascript. WebAppTech also has experience with other more sophisticated web applications such as GeoServer and MapServer. We use the combination of these open source technologies to create advanced mapping systems with custom overlying layers or even complex database driven map layers to show map visitors important geographical spatial information. Below is an example of a simple mapping system to show a demo of our capabilities.
3D Mapping Environment
WebAppTech also has experience in creating 3-Dimensional models and overlaying spatial data in a 3D environment such as Google Earth as well. We use web applications, such as Google Earth API and Javascript, to bring this 3D mapping environment to your web browser. WebAppTech also uses 3D modeling software, such as SketchUp, to create customized 3D models and bring them into Google Earth if they have a spatial reference.
